We are very excited to announce the next recording that is scheduled for release on Bridge Records of Paul Hindemith’s Ludus Tonalis and the Hugo Weisgall’s Sonata for Piano 1982. The details replicate the last two recordings; once again in collaboration with Bob Ludwig of Gateway, the recording was done in the acoustically impeccable Studzinski Recital Hall on the campus of Bowdoin College in March of 2016.

Reviews of Martin’s recent releases on Bridge Records have been excellent. Both CDs can be purchased HERE by clicking the PURCHASE link.

“Martin Perry’s playing (of the Concord Sonata) is supremely assured.
This version holds its head up high and for reasons musicological as well as musical
is a must-have.”

International Piano Magazine Nov/Dec 2013

“Perry’s playing is nuanced and expansive…an informed and forceful interpretation of the monumental work. It should be considered indispensable to anyone interested in Ives.”

American Record Guide July/Aug 2013

“Perry’s virtuosity is readily apparent in the daunting difficulty of Carter’s Sonata…in the fiery Rozsa Sonata Perry consistently delivers clearly delineated phrases and a commanding performance.”

Clavier Companion Sept/Oct 2014

Stay tuned for news on Martin’s upcoming recording on Bridge Records which will include Paul Hindemith’s Ludus Tonalis and Hugo Weisgall’s Piano Sonata.
